Job summary

Vantage Elevation, LLC is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily operations at our Sacramento facility. The role involves supervising up to 25 hourly staff across multiple departments, driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with the Production Manager and cross-functional teams, ensuring on-time production and adherence to standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred in Engineering, Operations, Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory/operational manufacturing experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and employee development skills.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, standardized work, and continuous improvement.
• Enforce safety, quality, and workplace standards in unionized/industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production on 8–10 hour shifts to meet schedules.
• Supervise 20–25 hourly employees across multiple departments.
• Maintain visible floor presence, coach staff, and support improvements.
• Conduct regular performance discussions and provide feedback.
• Plan weekly targets and optimize labor and resources.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements.
• Track quality and delivery issues; implement corrective actions.
• Support engineering projects, new product introductions, and plant improvements.
• Enforce safety rules, PPE, plant policies, and union agreements.
• Champion 5S and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with Production Manager and cross-functional teams in Sacramento.

We are searching for a hands‑on Production Supervisor to join our Elevator Controls Corporation (ECC) team at Vantage Elevation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing daily production operations across 8–10 hour shifts to meet production schedules and business objectives.
• Supervising and directing up to 20–25 hourly employees across multiple departments.
• Maintaining a visible presence on the production floor to monitor productivity, coach employees, and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Conducting regular performance discussions and providing ongoing feedback to support employee development.
• Planning and executing weekly production targets while ensuring efficient use of labor and resources.
• Analyzing operational processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements to increase efficiency.
• Tracking quality and delivery issues and implementing timely corrective actions.
• Supporting engineering projects, new product introductions, and plant improvement initiatives.
• Establishing and enforcing safety rules, PPE requirements, plant policies, and union agreements.
• Championing 5S practices and maintaining an organized, safe, and productive work environment.
• Working closely with the Production Manager and cross‑functional teams at our Sacramento manufacturing facility.
