Job Overview

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for developing continuous product and process improvement techniques in raw material refining, manufacturing, and packaging. The supervisor will provide leadership and line management to the work cell crew, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety measures are met. Additional duties include supporting work order closures, performing root cause analysis, and maintaining production metrics. The ideal candidate should have at least three years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, experience in lean manufacturing, and strong communication and leadership skills.

A Day In The Life
  • Provide leadership and line management to the work cell crew, coordinating workloads, supporting team members, monitoring issues, and ensuring production targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met.
  • Ensure effective application of resources and adherence to standard work procedures while achieving quality and safety standards.
  • Lead by example in following 5S practices (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
  • Support work order closures and stock control transactions.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and problem resolution within the work cell, maintaining communication with management.
  • Participate in continuous training and development as required.
  • Assist management with performance, quality, safety, and attendance corrective actions.
  • Maintain and communicate production metrics within the work cell and across organization levels.
  • Monitor time and attendance, ensuring policy compliance.
  • Participate in incident, accident, and non-conformity investigations, reporting, and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Production Scheduling to determine shift production schedules.
  • Lead by example to foster a culture of respect and teamwork.
