Job summary

CMC, a leading steel and precast concrete solutions provider, is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations and lead a team in Martinsburg, IA. You’ll drive safety, quality, and efficiency while coordinating with maintenance and other departments to meet production goals.

The role requires supervisory experience in manufacturing or industrial settings, strong leadership, and knowledge of production processes.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in manufacturing, construction, precast concrete, or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and industrial equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Ability to perform physical duties in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of concrete mix design and batching operations is preferred.
• ACI certification preferred or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily production operations to safely manufacture quality precast concrete products.
• Monitor production performance and drive improvements for productivity, quality, and safety.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to production staff.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce company policies and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with maintenance to support equipment reliability and PM programs.
• Monitor labor utilization, overtime, and operating efficiency.
• Identify and resolve production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain high standards of organization, housekeeping, and quality.

• Knowledge of concrete mix design, batching operations, and industrial maintenance preferred.
• ACI certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
