Job summary

Commercial Metals is hiring a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our precast concrete production facility. You will guide teams, monitor safety, and drive productivity while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising daily production operations in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of production planning, industrial equipment, and safety practices.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop production staff.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel for reporting and planning.
• Commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily production operations to ensure safe, efficient manufacture of precast concrete products.
• Monitor performance and implement improvements to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to production employees.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure policy compliance.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to support equipment reliability and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor labor utilization, overtime, and operating efficiency.
• Identify and resolve production issues while supporting continuous improvement.
• Maintain high standards of workplace organization, housekeeping, and quality.

What You'll Need

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and industrial equipment.


• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.


• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and perform physical job duties as needed.


• Knowledge of concrete mix design, batching operations, and industrial maintenance preferred.


• ACI certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.

Your Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
