Job summary

Sage V Foods, based in Little Rock, AR, is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee our rice manufacturing facility. You will manage daily line activities, supervise staff, and ensure on-time start-ups while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency.

This role requires 2–4 years of supervisory experience in a modern food manufacturing facility; you will train and motivate teams, coordinate staffing and timecards, and partner with Quality Control to uphold product standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production line activities and ensure on-time start-ups.
• Supervise and support production employees throughout the shift.
• Maintain productivity, reliability, and accuracy standards.
• Monitor production results, material usage, waste, and downtime.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to meet and maintain product standards.
• Identify and resolve equipment or production issues quickly and effectively.
• Train, coach, motivate, reward, and discipline employees as needed.
• Assist the Production Manager with staffing, scheduling, timecards, and overtime management.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and other administrative tasks.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety and company policies.
• Work cross‑functionally with other departments to resolve production‑related challenges.
• Stay knowledgeable on all operating systems in the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
