Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor – Intermediate to manage small work teams within a fast-paced, high-volume, unionized manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure production targets are achieved, team performance is enhanced, and workplace safety is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production operations and ensure adherence to the production schedule
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime
• Promote a safe working environment by enforcing all safety policies and procedures
• Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics; provide direction based on key findings
• Manage workforce planning, including staffing, training, attendance, and performance issues
• Lead Kaizen and lean manufacturing projects to improve safety, cost, quality, and throughput
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support shift-level issue resolution
• Build and maintain productive working relationships with union representatives and plant stakeholders

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to lead and mentor teams within a unionized setting
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work any shift, including overtime and weekends as needed
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
• 2+ years of supervision in a high-volume, unionized manufacturing environment
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• Familiarity with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.)
