Position will be responsible for the maintaining of our lean manufacturing and 3D/5S standards. This position is a hands-on opportunity requiring extensive time spent on the production floor.

Responsibilities

Directly supervises production employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations’ policies and applicable laws.

  • Responsible for daily production results, which include meeting expectations for quality and safety.
  • Responsible for manning assignments for each shift, which varies per part orders and line scheduled
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully
  • Pursues training and development opportunities; shares expertise with others
  • Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; remains open to others’ ideas and tries new things
  • Balances team and individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity and openness to others’ views; gives and welcomes feedback; able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives
  • Communicates to associates clearly, in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; participates in meetings. Writes clearly and informatively. Presents numerical data effectively, able to read and interpret written information.

Requirements

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years manufacturing experience with demonstrated leadership skills required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Word; ability to learn new software applications
