Overview

Stryten Energy, manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.

Production Supervisors are responsible for overall supervision of all employees on the shift. Lead the shift to maximize output of quality products at minimum costs. Supervise all other plant departments when other Supervisors are not in the facility.

We have a 3rd shift (11pm - 7am) opening

Responsibilities

• Helps manufacturing staff achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results
• Assists workers by offering personal growth opportunities
• Implements cost-saving strategies and techniques
• Ensures that production plans are completed timely
• Contacts appropriate sources for repair issues
• Counsels employees on how to achieve an optimal output or workflow
• Resolves issues and disputes between manufacturing employees
• Creates and maintains professional schedules
• Communicates with and assists other manufacturing departments as needed
• Enforces company policies and guidelines
• Works with new employees
• Maintains a clean and safe environment for all workers
• Compiles and analyzes production record
• Additional responsibilities as neededto support the team and company goals

Qualifications

Education, Experience

• Previous supervisory experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills in a manufacturing setting
• Excellent coaching and communication skills
• Ability to track expenses and understand budget requirements
• Broad knowledge of production planning processes
• Understanding of production requirements and ensure production is meet those requirements
• Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting

Environment & Physical Demands

• This position requires you to be on site at our Columbus, IN location.
• Sitting, standing, walking, bending, and twisting as requried.
• Occassional lifting from grams up to 50 pounds.
• Travel as required to meet business needs.
