Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Blending Supervisor to oversee daily blending operations in a Greensboro manufacturing facility. You will lead production personnel, coordinate blending activities, ensure quality standards, and promote safe work practices while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership in manufacturing with problem-solving skills and the ability to motivate and develop employees for efficient, compliant production processes.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical degree or equivalent combination of education and manufacturing experience.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing, blending, chemical, lubricants, or process-driven environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication and team-building skills.
  • Ability to interpret production data and make sound operational decisions.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily blending and production activities to meet operational goals.
  • Assign work, monitor workflow, and maintain production and labor records.
  • Oversee raw material and fluid inventory utilization to maximize storage and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all blending, testing, and production activities meet established quality standards.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop production team members through coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Promote a positive, accountable, and safety-focused work environment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop, update, and enforce standard operating procedures.
  • Champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to achieve operational objectives and support plant performance goals.
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
