Job Overview
This position is responsible for blending finished fluid products and performing all other tasks associated with the product in our blending, grease and/or chem plant area. The blender’s duties include loading and offloading bulk chemicals from tanker trucks, ISO containers and railcars, transferring raw materials and finished products, and ensuring the correct material is transferred to the correct destination. The role requires performing calculations to determine tank contents and quantities transferred, as well as batch‑related calculations. Detailed batch instructions that include precise weighing and adding of raw materials must be followed. The operator is also expected to pack products as needed and operate a forklift. Lifting is essential, involving lifting, dumping raw materials into blend kettles, and transferring materials. Accurate and legible completion of forms and batch records is required. The role supports safe and efficient production through lock‑out/tag‑out, 6S/housekeeping, PHA support, inspections, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- 4+ years prior chemical plant or similar experience handling chemicals in an industrial environment
- Prior experience blending chemicals and bulk chemical handling strongly preferred
- Minimum age: 18 years
- High School Diploma or equivalency required
- Clear and comprehensive communication in English (written/verbal) required
- Basic mathematics and numeracy skills required
- Qualified forklift operator required
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Committed to safety & organizational goals
- Self‑motivated with good work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders and stairs, and stand continuously for periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in a hot, humid, noisy, and high‑volume machine production area
- Ability to climb ladders and platforms (such as on storage tanks and railcars)
- Willingness to work safely and wear PPE as required
