Job summary

Ques Industries, Inc. is seeking a Chemical Blending Operator to accurately weigh, measure, and blend raw materials into quality chemical products while following formulations and safety standards.

You will operate mixing equipment, read batch tickets, document weights and batch numbers, and maintain a clean, organized blending area in a manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail and compliance with PPE requirements.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in chemical blending or manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to read batch tickets, SDSs, and technical docs.
  • Must lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
  • Basic math and computer skills required.
  • Willingness to work with PPE and in chemical exposure.

Responsibilities

  • Follow blending formulas and batch tickets to prepare chemical mixtures.
  • Safely operate mixing and blending equipment (tanks, pumps, agitators, etc.).
  • Weigh and measure raw materials using scales and other measuring devices.
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
  • Monitor blending process to ensure consistency and product quality.
  • Record production data including batch numbers, weights, lot numbers, and other relevant information.
  • Use forklifts or pallet jacks to transport materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of blending area and equipment.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations including use of PPE.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, spills, or safety incidents to supervisor immediately.
  • Assist with inventory control and raw material storage.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control and other departments to resolve product issues.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks.
  • Basic math and computer skills required.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Willingness to work in an environment with exposure to chemicals and odors and commitment to wearing PPE.
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals, heat, noise, and moving machinery.
  • Working in elevated spaces and uneven terrain.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required, such as gloves, goggles, and respirators.
  • May require overtime and shift work depending on production needs.
