Production Supervisor

THE PASS is an adult-use recreational cannabis business led by experienced entrepreneurs from the spirits, cannabis, and marketing industries. We are located in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts’ southernmost town of Sheffield.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day manufacturing operations are followed by team members. This includes hands-on work with cannabis products. The goal is to supervise production procedures and produce consistent, safe, and high-quality products. Strong communication skills, organization, attention to safety, detail, and time management are critical for success.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Ensure production tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
2. Perform quality assurance testing and visual inspections to meet quality standards.
3. Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and logs.
4. Assist with processing raw materials, including weighing, grinding, cleaning, and packaging.
5. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
6. Ensure compliance with all production and inventory regulations.
7. Maintain accurate Metrc inventory records.
8. Handle all cannabis transfers responsibly.
9. Oversee waste product destruction.
10. Collaborate with Operations on continuous improvement projects.
11. Assist with timesheet reviews.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education

1. Strong background in cannabis processing.
2. Supervisory experience required.
3. Attention to detail.
4. Comfort working in a production environment.
5. Knowledge of Massachusetts cannabis industry compliance laws.
6. Ability to work independently and solve problems.
7. Adherence to policies and procedures.
8. Experience with METRC or similar seed-to-sale tracking systems.
9. Must be at least 21 years old.
10. Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

1. Prolonged standing and sitting.
2. Ability to observe and assess material deviations.
3. Ability to bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
