Epic Personnel Partners is actively hiring a Sheet Metal Production Supervisor for a leading manufacturing partner in Newington, CT.

Pay: $60,000–$70,000/year
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 9:00AM–5:00PM

Duties: The Sheet Metal Production Supervisor leads day-to-day shop operations, coordinates workflows, mentors staff, and ensures production meets quality, safety, and timeline goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, adjust, and assign daily tasks based on changing production needs
2. Hire, train, and mentor shop personnel
3. Enforce safety procedures and provide proper safety training
4. Monitor and report on project status, timelines, and quality
5. Resolve conflicts quickly and maintain a positive team environment
6. Manage staff efficiency to meet budgeted labor standards
7. Communicate regularly with engineers, upper management, and team leaders

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in sheet metal production (REQUIRED)
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Skilled in motivating and managing production teams
• Experience with project planning, safety protocols, and workflow efficiency
