Job description

Job Title: Production Supervisor – Full Time

We are a dynamic organization in the Collision and Auto Repair Markets, operating a remanufacturing facility for automotive lights. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Production Supervisor to lead a team of 20+ employees. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing material movement, ensuring safety, driving quality, and implementing operational standards to meet and exceed our customer's delivery expectations.

What You’ll Be Doing
  1. Lead daily operations including inventory, material movement, quality, and shipping.
  2. Audit teams to ensure adherence to processes and minimize returns.
  3. Ensure compliance with safety standards to maintain a hazard-free environment.
  4. Enforce quality control, inventory accuracy, and daily production standards.
  5. Ensure timely order fulfillment to meet customer delivery expectations.
  6. Assist in developing on-the-job training programs.
  7. Support the Operations Manager/GM as needed.
  8. Send daily shift reports to site management.
  9. Ensure employees are cross-trained and job rotation is in place.
  10. Monitor employee adherence to production tracking protocols and goals.
  11. Participate in hiring processes.
  12. Hold weekly meetings to maintain quality standards.
  13. Mentor, coach, train, and assist team members in production activities.
  14. Manage raw material ordering and organization for the production department.
Skills And Experience
  1. 2+ years of leadership experience, preferably supervising a team of 20+ employees.
  2. High school Diploma or GED required.
  3. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment preferred.
  4. Experience in inventory, distribution, shipping, or materials management strongly preferred.
  5. Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships to improve business results and resolve quality issues.
Physical Requirements
  1. Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours.
  2. Lift and move totes weighing up to 50 pounds.
  3. Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.
  4. Work in environments with variable noise, lighting, and temperature conditions, with access to all areas of the building.
