A leader in the Aerospace & Defense sector is seeking a driven, hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to drive continuous improvement and lead successful manufacturing operations.

Location: Northern, NJ

Available shifts:

• 2nd Shift (2pm-11pm) Mon-Fri

Responsibilities:

• Team Supervision: Plans and holds meetings, conducts performance appraisals, manages staffing levels, assists with career development, approves time and attendance, and prioritizes work assignments.
• Feedback and Documentation: Provides feedback and maintains documentation for disciplinary actions.
• Training and Orientation: Ensures employee training on EHS rules and company policies.
• Policy Compliance: Ensures adherence to policies and practices.
• Production Scheduling: Schedules production and work teams.
• Operational Review: Reviews reports to resolve issues and minimize costs.
• Equipment Inspection: Inspects machines for optimal performance.
• Environmental Health & Safety: Implements EHS policies, reports safety concerns, and attends training.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years leadership experience
• Legally authorized to work in the US
• Supervising experience in a complex manufacturing environment
