Eaton’s Bussmann Division is currently seeking a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor. This is an on-site position based at our La Grange, NC facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year.

What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a proactive and strategic Production Supervisor to lead our molding and assembly operations on 3rd shift. In this role, you’ll oversee daily production activities, manage personnel, and ensure we meet customer demands while maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate production schedules to meet customer and company goals.
  • Supervise and support team leads and production staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools such as 5S and waste reduction.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaged work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper equipment use.
  • Act as the go-to contact for production-related issues and resolutions.
  • Support employee development through training, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Monitor workloads and delegate tasks to meet production targets.
  • Collaborate across departments to maintain effective communication and alignment.
  • Contribute to company goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity, and People.


Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the specified job location(s) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applications must be US persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a US person as a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident (i.e. “Green Card Holder”), Political Asylee, or Refugee.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous leadership experience working in an engineering, operations, or manufacturing environment
  • Green Belt Certification
  • 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience working in multi-process manufacturing, fabrication, shipping, or engineered to order environment
  • Project management experience
