Job summary

Westrock Coffee is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the manufacturing department. You will direct packaging-line operators, analyze production data, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across shifts.

You will work with Human Resources on staffing and training, foster teamwork, and uphold SOPs and GMPs. Strong leadership and clear communication are essential for success on this 12-hour night shift.

Qualifications

• Five years supervisory experience in production environment.
• BA/BS preferred; A.A. or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to train on any shift and work any shift as business needs dictate.
• Demonstrated professionalism, good work ethic and leadership skills.
• Sound math and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate personnel.
• Strong initiative, ability to anticipate issues proactively.
• Intermediate computer skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook and AS400.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coach production operators in the daily/weekly production schedule for multiple packaging lines.
• Meet and exceed production goals while maintaining safety, quality and productivity while minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with other departments for production needs.
• Review, interpret and analyze production data to determine adjustments.
• Partner with Human Resources in recruitment, hiring and training of personnel and other employee relations issues.
• Encourage teamwork and build staff morale.
• Provide strong leadership to staff regarding professionalism and policy adherence.
• May conduct period end inventory and routine raw material inventory.
• Enforce and maintain SOPs, GMPs, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain time and attendance records and track operator performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
