Position Summary

The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. This role leads a team of operators and technicians, coordinates workflow, monitors performance, and drives continuous improvement. The Production Supervisor is responsible for meeting production targets while maintaining a positive, disciplined, and safety‑focused work environment.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
  • Supervise, coach, and support production employees across assigned shifts or work areas.
  • Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to work instructions and safety procedures.
  • Conduct training for new hires and cross‑training for existing employees.
  • Address performance issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Production Oversight
  • Ensure production schedules are met by coordinating labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor machine performance, workflow, and output to maintain efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with maintenance or quality teams to resolve problems quickly.
  • Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and KPI tracking.
Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and 5S compliance.
Safety & Environmental Responsibility
  • Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing PPE, lockout/tagout, and safe‑work practices.
  • Lead safety talks, participate in incident investigations, and support corrective actions.
  • Identify and report hazards, unsafe behaviors, or equipment concerns.
Communication & Coordination
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between production, maintenance, quality, and management.
  • Communicate shift updates, production goals, and operational changes clearly to the team.
  • Participate in daily production meetings and contribute to planning and improvement discussions.
Qualifications
Required
