Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $82,000.00 Annually

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor will oversee the activities, production, shipping, staff, and schedule of the assigned operating shift.

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and ensures training is completed for new employees and new roles in the facility.
  • Oversee the daily workflow.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Essential Functions

  • Work safely and actively engaged in site safety programs.
  • Working with the Operations Manager to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly revenue plans.
  • Plans, gives, directs work and scheduling deadlines.
  • Ensures efficient operations through collaboration, communications, and coordination with other departments to drive on-time delivery performance to stated goals.
  • Maintain data integrity in the ERP system including inventory, work order reporting, and shipping.
  • Facilitates and participates in daily workflow; solves workflow problems that may arise.
  • Resolve routine equipment issues.
  • May step in and act as a back-up in a manager’s absence.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong and effective communication skills; both verbal and written.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Material handling experience with equipment; forklift, electric pallet jacks
  • Computer literate with experience using Excel and ERP systems necessary.
  • Thorough understanding of operation policies and practices.

  • Capable of maneuvering, lifting, pushing, pulling up to 60 lbs.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • At least two - four years of manufacturing experience.
  • Supervisory or lead experience is strongly preferred.
