Planet Group is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in the Cleveland area. The role emphasizes safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery, with supervision of staff, development of team members, and driving continuous improvement.

Shift openings include day, night, and weekend schedules. Competitive pay of $75-85k reflects experience and leadership in a family-owned, USA-made product environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Manufacturing or fabrication leadership experience required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and follow English instructions.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and prioritize daily production activities.
• Develop, coach, and mentor team members and Area Leaders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and manufacturing procedures.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor productivity, quality, scrap, and on-time delivery metrics.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, cross-training, and performance management.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve production issues.
• Manage departmental staffing, budgets, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Participate in plant leadership meetings and drive operational improvements.

Production Supervisor

Shift Openings (All Shifts Available)

• Day: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
• Night: Monday - Thursday, 7:30 PM-6:00 AM
• Weekend:Friday - Sunday 6:00 AM-6:00 PM (Paid for 40 hours)

Position Summary

The Production Supervisor leads daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery goals are achieved.
