Job summary

MRINetwork seeks a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in the Greater Cincinnati area. This hands-on leadership role manages a 25-person manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment focused on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

You will plan production flow, coach employees, and drive continuous improvement using LEAN principles while coordinating with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Warehouse, and HR. Strong ERP and Office skills are required; relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of production supervisory experience in food/beverage/pharma manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn ERP and other manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop 25 manufacturing employees.
• Plan production flow, assign labor, and coordinate equipment schedules.
• Monitor performance and address safety, quality, productivity issues.
• Promote continuous improvement using LEAN manufacturing principles.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Warehouse, HR and others to keep production on track.
• Utilize ERP to manage production orders and resolve inventory issues.
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate employees; identify development opportunities.
• Ensure SOPs, policies, quality standards, and safety procedures are followed.
• Support process improvements, SOP development, and capital projects.

About the Opportunity

Seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team (25 hourly associates) on 2nd shift. Reporting to the Production Manager on days, this position will oversee daily production activities in a process-oriented manufacturing environment where materials are prepared, processed, and packaged to meet customer specifications.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people, solving production challenges, and driving continuous improvement while keeping safety, quality, and customer requirements at the forefront.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop 25 manufacturing employees while maintaining a positive, accountable team environment.
• Plan production flow, assign labor, and coordinate equipment schedules to meet production goals and customer requirements.
• Monitor performance and address issues involving safety, quality, productivity, downtime, and employee performance.
• Promote continuous improvement and utilize LEAN manufacturing principles to improve efficiency.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Warehouse, HR, and other departments to keep production on track.
• Utilize an ERP system to manage production orders and resolve inventory issues.
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate employees while identifying opportunities for skills development.
• Ensure SOPs, company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures are consistently followed.
• Support process improvements, SOP development, and capital projects.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of production supervisory experience in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and collaborate across departments.
