Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Findlay, Ohio

Excellent benefits, bonus potential, and paid overtime after 40 hours worked.

Shift Hours

Monday-Friday, 2 pm to 10:30 pm. Arrive 15 minutes early, stay 15 minutes after the shift, and be available for weekend overtime.

Responsibilities

• Meet and track production requirements and metrics.
• Lead shift start‑up meetings and attend other meetings as needed.
• Communicate with 1st and 3rd shift production supervisors during shift changes.
• Follow the production schedule and make adjustments as necessary.
• Train, coach, mentor, and evaluate the hourly workforce to improve performance.
• Ensure all necessary training is completed for new and current staff.
• Review and verify shift paperwork and production numbers for accuracy.
• Confirm timesheets, vacation requests, and time‑off records in the timekeeping system.
• Maintain shift safety, quality, and delivery targets consistently.
• Conduct performance reviews for line leaders and production employees.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Handle disciplinary actions and support HR functions.
• Other duties as directed by management.

Requirements

1. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
2. At least one year of experience overseeing others in a manufacturing environment.
3. Experience overseeing at least 10–15 people at a time.
4. Microsoft Office experience, including basic Excel skills.

Skills Preferred but NOT Required

• Production scheduling.
• ERP experience.

Additional Information
