Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to direct day-to-day manufacturing operations and build scalable processes for growth. You will lead a dynamic team, drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery while applying Lean and Six Sigma to improve throughput.

With 5–7 years in manufacturing and a related bachelor’s degree, you’ll collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain on NPI and scaling. This on-site role in Texas offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of manufacturing experience with leadership in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field (preferred).
  • Six Sigma Certification required (Green Belt preferred, Black Belt a plus).
  • Hands-on experience with Lean tools, root cause analysis, standard work development, and reading engineering drawings.
  • Experience in startup or fast-growth manufacturing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency and on-time delivery.
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma methods to reduce downtime, eliminate waste, and optimize workflow.
  • Partner with Engineering and Quality on NPI, prototype builds, and DFM as products scale.
  • Create and standardize work instructions, assembly methods, and manufacturing processes.
  • Coach, train and mentor production personnel to build a safety-first, continuous-improvement culture.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Engineering and Operations to remove bottlenecks.

We are a global leader in advanced liquid cooling solutions supporting high-performance computing, AI, and data center environments. As demand for AI infrastructure accelerates, we are expanding our manufacturing operations to support groundbreaking new products, higher production volumes, and evolving customer requirements.

We are seeking a hands-on, growth-minded Production Supervisor to direct day-to-day manufacturing operations, lead a dynamic team, and help build the scalable processes needed for our next phase of growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead Daily Operations: Direct day-to-day manufacturing activities to ensure maximum safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (5S, Kaizen, DMAIC, Fishbone) to reduce downtime, eliminate waste, and optimize workflow.
  • Support NPI & Scaling: Partner with Engineering and Quality on New Product Introduction (NPI), prototype builds, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) as products move from development to high-volume production.
  • Process Development: Create and standardize work instructions, assembly methods, and manufacturing processes to ensure repeatable, high-quality production.
  • Empower Your Team: Coach, train, and mentor production personnel while building an accountable, safety-first, continuous-improvement culture.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations to eliminate production bottlenecks and material constraints.
What You Bring
  • Experience: 5-7 years of manufacturing experience, including leadership in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field (preferred).
  • Certifications: Six Sigma Certification required (Green Belt preferred, Black Belt a plus).
  • Technical Expertise: Hands‑on experience with Lean tools, root cause analysis, standard work development, and reading engineering drawings.
  • Adaptability: Experience working in a startup, fast‑paced, high‑growth, or scaling manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with electro‑mechanical, complex hardware, HVAC, thermal management, or data center equipment.
  • Knowledge of DFM/DFA principles and ERP/MRP systems

salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Manufacturing Operations & Leadership: Direct daily operations to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coaching and developing a team of manufacturing employees.
  • Continuous Improvement & Lean: Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools (5S, Kaizen, DMAIC, 8D) to eliminate waste, track KPIs, reduce downtime, and resolve root causes.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI): Partner with Engineering and Quality on prototype builds, DFM/DFA considerations, and scaling initial runs into repeatable production.
  • Process Scaling & Optimization: Standardize work instructions, design tooling/fixtures, and adapt manufacturing workflows as production volumes grow.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations to eliminate material bottlenecks and drive continuous performance improvements.
