Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor with hands-on experience in a welding, fabrication, or machining environment.

Within this role, you will:

1. Drive the long-range strategic planning process for operations by overseeing and managing all manufacturing operations.
2. Translate customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes, resulting in cost-effective processing.
3. Develop operations-related plans, budgets, and policies and procedures.
4. Maintain safety and regulatory compliance relating to the production facility.
5. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to lead teams of skilled tradespersons from diverse backgrounds in a dynamic, manufacturing shop environment.
• Capable of balancing multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Follow through with problem solving.
• MS Office software capabilities.
• Maintain labor accounting and reconcile time cards of reporting employees.
• Able to assess current machining centers and work with Engineering for streamlined processes.
• Able to document and counsel employees as required per policy, e.g., attendance, performance.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Machining and fabrication experience to help resolve manufacturing issues.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $60,076 - $102,130

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
