The Production Superintendent will manage assigned production work centers, ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and lead supervisors and operators to meet schedules and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of chemical processing/manufacturing experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to train employees and participate in audits.
• Leadership and financial knowledge relevant to manufacturing.
• DEA clearance eligibility and respirator use comply with safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring assigned production areas meet or exceed safety and quality requirements.
• Scheduling operations and maintenance to prevent delays and utilize manpower.
• Ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures in all operations and activities.
• Work with product supervisors to ensure employees are properly trained and evaluate performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements that positively impact yield, throughput, waste, labor, raw materials and cycle time.
• Investigate operational issues and coordinate corrective and preventative actions.
• Work with Process Engineering during the implementation of new products in the manufacturing area.
• Participate in process or capital project evaluations as assigned.
• Coach production supervisors and their subordinates on company policies and procedures.
