Job summary

Cambrex is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the chemical manufacturing area, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. You will manage day-to-day manpower, equipment, and processing needs, coordinating with other departments to meet on-time shipments and quality standards.

Shift work is required. The role requires prior chemical processing or manufacturing experience and may involve training, SOP adherence, and performance evaluations to maintain high safety and quality

Qualifications

• Three or more years of chemical processing/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience beneficial.
• Sound written and oral communication skills.
• Strong computer knowledge in Windows based software required.
• DEA background check required.
• Respirator use required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production area to meet safety and quality requirements.
• Schedule operations to prevent delays and optimize manpower.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs in all activities.
• Train employees and evaluate performance.
• Coordinate with Maintenance on maintenance activities.
• Assist in process improvements to reduce waste and costs.
• Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering during new product introductions.
• Participate in process evaluations with supervision or engineers.
