A leading North American food manufacturing company is seeking a results-driven and experienced Superintendent to oversee daily operations at its Portsmouth, NH facility. This role is critical to ensuring production efficiency, quality assurance, and team leadership in a fast-paced, high-volume environment focused on delivering premium frozen food products.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage production teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor and analyze production metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, SQF, USDA) and company policies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
Develop and mentor frontline supervisors and team leads to build a high-performing workforce.
Support capital projects and equipment upgrades in coordination with the engineering team.
Manage labor resources effectively, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in a supervisory or superintendent role within a food manufacturing or similar regulated industry.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
