Our client is currently seeking a 1st Shift Production Superintendent for their plant located near the New Hampshire coast.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the Production Department’s daily operations
• Work cross functionally with other plant departments to ensure success
• Hire and train new employees
• Supporting new product and process trials and launches
• Ensuring compliance with GMP’s, SOPs, Corporate Programs & Training
• Will manage staffing levels within the department
• Responsible for managing staffing levels and performance within the production department.
• Participate on lean / continuous improvement projects
• Ensure safety protocols are adhered to.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree is highly preferred
• 4-5 years of managing salaried staff, including supervisors
• 5-10 years of manufacturing experience
• Experience within consumer packaged goods is required (food/beverage)
• Experience with production scheduling is needed
• HACCP certification is preferred
• Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills are required
