Blue Rhino is looking for a full-time Production Specialist to join our team! Our Production Specialists play a key role in our production process. They operate in a team-based environment to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in refilling, re-valving, requalifying, refurbishing, packaging, and storage of propane cylinders. Every cylinder is cleaned, leak-tested, inspected, and then delivered to tens of thousands of convenience stores nationwide.

• Labor intensive: requiring frequent lifting and stacking of 40lb cylinders
• Work environment is outdoor with varying temperature conditions; previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday, with most Fridays and some Saturdays during peak season
• Hours: _____am - ____pm, with overtime opportunities during spring and fall

Starting at $_____, with rate increases over time as proficiency at stations improves (Tier Level 2 & Senior Level)

Responsibilities

• Perform washer functions: placing cylinders on conveyor, sorting, removing sleeves, and peeling labels
• Dispatch cylinders to paint, fill, or rework stations
• Complete paint line operations: loading cylinders, applying paint, unloading
• Operate shot blast, tare weight entry, capper, and stacker
• Check for leaks, weight issues, or sleeve malfunctions
• Perform refurb operations based on workstation
• Stack finished products and check for quality assurance

Qualifications

• Possess integrity and a good work ethic
• Be punctual, dependable, and reliable
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Understand basic technical instructions, both written and verbal
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or authorized to work in the U.S.
