Put your career into gear with Interstate Fleet Services, a leader in the fleet repair industry, where we have an immediate position for a Mobile Diesel Mechanic in our Atlanta, GA area operation.

You'll work from home, being on call (no office to report to), and drive to our customers' breakdown or work-site locations upon being dispatched to perform emergency repairs on commercial trucks, trailers, etc.

Repairs include, but are not limited to, no starts, brakes, compressed air systems, tires, electrical repairs, trailer repairs, removing and replacing hydraulic lines, etc.

You will also be responsible for communicating with dispatchers and customers throughout each job.

• Must live in or near the Atlanta, GA area.
• Must have a valid driver's license (NO CDL Required).
• Must have all your own basic hand tools up to 1 inch drive.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic / Service Tech, either in a shop or doing mobile road service. (Recent diesel school graduates are welcome to apply.)
• Willing to work on-call irregular hours on the roadside in all weather conditions.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and all random testing after hire.
• Maintain strong professionalism when dealing with all customers.
