Document Production Specialist (Night Shift)

Location: Remote

This is a permanent, full-time vacancy that will close in 3 months at 23:59 BST.

The Vacancy

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Document Production Specialist to join the firm's highly regarded Document Production Team, which is part of Legal Support Services.

This is a remote role. The working hours are 17:00 - 01:00, Monday to Friday.

Fieldfisher's Document Production Team supports all legal and non-legal departments and practice areas.

We are seeking an experienced Document Production Specialist with strong IT, communication, and time management skills, and solid experience using Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint.

A bit about the role

  1. Respond promptly and effectively to all incoming requests.
  2. Create and amend documents from handwritten mark-ups accurately and timely.
  3. Create documents and correspondence using digital dictation.
  4. Produce tables, flowcharts, and presentations to a high standard, providing advice when necessary.
  5. Proofread all work for accuracy and proper layout.
  6. Utilize advanced track changes and comparison software such as Litera.
  7. Reformat and strip documents as needed.
  8. Troubleshoot problem documents using extensive knowledge to find solutions.
  9. Adhere to and promote house style in all documents.
  10. Ensure all documents are correctly formatted and stable.
  11. Perform document conversion from PDF to Word.

A bit about you

Technical Skills

  • Advanced skills in Word and Office applications are essential, including working with complex and lengthy documents and agreements.
  • MOS Word and PowerPoint certifications are desirable but can be achieved following training.

Skills/Experience

  • Proven experience within a document production unit in a law firm is desirable; however, training will be provided to successful candidates.
