Job summary

US Waffle Company, Inc. in Hazelwood, MO is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead our operations team on the floor.

You will own shift performance across safety, quality, throughput, and labor efficiency, ensuring standard work and GMP compliance. You will start up and handoff shifts, monitor run rates, address downtime, coach front-line employees, and partner with Maintenance, FSQA, and Warehouse to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required in engineering, business, operations management or similar fields.
• Lean Six Sigma experience preferred demonstrated by a major improvement project.
• Ability to interface effectively with plant personnel, outside contractors, and different functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Own shift performance including safety, quality, throughput, labor efficiency and waste.
• Lead daily shift startup, execution, and handoff to ensure consistency across shifts.
• Monitor run rates, identify downtime and escalate issues quickly.
• Drive adherence to standard work, procedures and GMP requirements.
• Ensure products meet quality standards including weight, appearance and packaging.
