Job summary

Western Container Corp. is seeking a shift supervisor to coach, coordinate and support production teams to meet established goals. The role ensures proper shift staffing, tool availability, and adherence to production schedules, quality, and safety standards.

Ability to develop and train team members.
Follow safety, housekeeping and timekeeping standards.
Documentation of personnel and production records.

Responsibilities

Direct, organize and coordinate shift efforts for production requirements.
Manage member development and training.
Monitor housekeeping and safety issues; take corrective action.
Document timesheets, production reports and personnel files.
Ensure adequate staffing; adjust to schedule changes.
Monitor quality issues and react to SPC data.
Plan, organize, and attend team and staff meetings.
Coordinate all activities for the assigned shift to meet productivity and quality targets; may work day, evening, or night shifts.
