The position focuses on setting up equipment, producing quality parts, and inspecting parts to blueprints while maintaining safe, efficient operations. Under general supervision, you will operate grinders and other finishing equipment, support shift handoffs, and participate in training new operators as needed to sustain productivity and quality goals at our

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass math measurement/blueprint with 85% or better.
• Perform Production operator 3 skill sets.
• Ability to set up independently, efficiently and safely.
• Must attend 8 weeks of setup training – pass setup test.

Responsabilidades

• Visualizes and interprets blueprints and sketches.
• Analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves problems with equipment in production area.
• Adjusts accordingly to changing production requirements.
• Verify all necessary paperwork, prints, patterns or check fixtures are present for part being set up.
• Manufacture and inspects parts to blueprints and/or sketches using Operator Inspection Instructions (OII) as reference.
• Display ability to set-up and operate all types and sizes of equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist with the training of operators as required.
• Ensure setup and production processes are being followed.
• Ensure appropriate exchange of information at shift and/or operator change.
• Enforce safe setups and operations in area.
• Maintain 5-pillars maintenance and cleaning schedules.
• Use BTD operating software for time/payroll and job information.
• Perform jobs personally as well as through delegation or interaction with others.
