Job summary

BTD Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a production operator to set up and run grinders, tumblers, belt sanders, and related equipment. You will inspect parts, read blueprints, and adjust processes to maintain quality and efficiency in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role requires basic math, blueprint reading, and the ability to train others. Candidates must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working safely in a manufacturing setting at our Lakeville, MN facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass math measurement/blueprint with 85% or better.
• Perform Production operator 3 skill sets.
• Ability to set up independently, efficiently and safely.
• Attend 8 weeks of setup training - pass setup test.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and sketches.
• Troubleshoot equipment in production area.
• Set up and operate equipment safely.
• Verify paperwork, prints, patterns or check fixtures are current.
• Produce and inspect parts per blueprints and OII reference.
• Train operators as required.
