Job summary

BTD Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an Inspector to perform in-process and setup inspections across production runs. You will assist production personnel with technical questions, inspection equipment, QCPs, and blueprints, serving as the inspector in all areas of production.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate measurement, and adherence to QA procedures. You will generate non-conformances and help expand knowledge of parts and processes to ensure quality products.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing inspection practices and blueprints.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and setup inspections across production runs.
• Use basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, height gage) to verify parts.
• Compute basic math to support inspection activities.
• Create Non-Conformance notifications and communicate findings.
• Continuously learn about parts, processes and QA practices.
