Job summary

Batchline Solutions is seeking a Production Admin to support the Planning Manager with material replenishment and production scheduling. The role verifies counts on the floor, releases work orders, and coordinates resources to meet production requirements.

You will follow GMP/PPE and safety guidelines, work in a refrigerated environment, and communicate clearly with supervisors to resolve delays and discrepancies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; AA or BS strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of related experience in food handling, procurement and vendor management, warehousing or materials management in a manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook, Excel, Word) and other Google applications (Gmail, Sheets).
• Excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure, multi-task and adapt to continuous change.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (-9º to -42º Fahrenheit) for 8+ hours.
• Knowledge of agriculture, produce, and raw materials.
• Must follow GMP/PPE and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Monitors daily production activities, materials flow and transactions to ensure production schedules are met and verifies material counts on the floor.
• Confirms and releases work orders and ensures progress to schedules, reporting status and removing bottlenecks.
• Reviews reports from the automated production tracking system and communicates with department supervisors to determine work order status.
• Reports delays in production or material availability to management.
• Interfaces with other departments to ensure smooth flow of required materials; notes and escalates errors in production flow and scheduling.
• Works with supervisors to correct discrepancies and eliminate root causes; initiates corrective actions to expedite flow.
• Follows GMP/PPE and safety guidelines; completes required training; adheres to Batchline Solutions policies.
