Job summary

Intelligent Foods in Westampton, NJ is seeking a Production Admin to support the Planning Manager with material replenishment and production scheduling. Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in food handling, procurement and vendor management, warehousing or materials management in a manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google applications (Gmail, Sheets) will be used daily.
• Excellent communicator both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Monitors daily production activities, materials flow and transactions to ensure that production schedules are met which involves verification and confirmation of materials.
• Confirms and releases work orders
• Ensures job progress to schedules, reporting of status and removal of bottlenecks and related problems.
• Reviews reports generated from the automated production tracking system.
• Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned work orders
• Reports delays in production assembly or the availability of materials to management prior to production
• Interfaces with other departments to ensure smooth flow of required materials.
• Notes errors in production flow and scheduling, e.g. incorrect status, and brings these to the attention of the supervisor.
• Works with department supervisors correct discrepancies and eliminate the fundamental causes of the problems.
• Initiates corrective actions to expedite the flow of work.
• Follow and enforce all GMP/PPE and safety guidelines
• Responsible for following and enforcing food safety and food quality programs
• Complete training as assigned.
• Must follow Batchline Solutions policies and procedures
• Perform all other related duties as assigned or required.

Job Location: East Coast Distribution Center - WESTAMPTON, NJ, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00Hourly, Job Shift: Any, The Production Admin is responsible for supporting the Planning Manager with material replenishment and production scheduling by verifying counts on the floor and investigation discrepancies. The Production Planner Admin will work with and coordinate multiple resources ensuring requirements are met and engaging additional members and elevate issues of any to appropriate channels as necessary. All Batchline Solutions employees are also required to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food handling procedures, quality control, and all safety procedures and policies in our distribution centers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, A.A or B.S strongly preferred
• 2+ years of related experience in food handling, procurement and vendor management, warehousing or materials management in a manufacturing environment
• Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and other google applications (Gmail, sheets, etc.)
• Excellent communicator both verbal and written.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure, multi-task and adapt to continuous change
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (-9º-42º Fahrenheit) for 8 or more hours.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
