The role requires coordination with planning, sales, and quality to maintain transparency of products through final processing milestones. Responsibilities include ensuring QMS compliance for completed work orders, approving product transfers to distribution, and using tracking programs to maintain traceability.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping department experience required, with manufacturing shipping experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing process routers.
• Basic knowledge of inventory systems, preferably computerized systems.
• Ability to read and follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to organize workloads efficiently and has good to attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Communicates daily with planning, sales and quality to ensure transparency of products through final processing milestone.
• Verifies that internal requirements of QMS have been met for all workorders that complete processing.
• Approves product to be transported from the plant to distribution center.
• Uses part tracking program to ensure traceability of part movement.
• Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack certified. (LPC Specific)
• Supports drivers and dispatchers to ensure timely part movement.
• May be asked to help with other activities across the plant that aid in the through-put or quality of product.
• Must perform cycle counting to ensure accuracy of physical inventory and casting values. (LPC Specific)
