Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Minerva, OH is seeking a Production Scheduler to coordinate schedules and inventories, ensuring efficient routing of products through the operation.

You will serve as the primary liaison with internal and external vendors and collaborate with Sales and Operations to allocate resources to meet client needs. You will work with multiple departments to integrate orders with production, monitor core material availability, and participate in forecasting meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in production planning/scheduling or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Schedules customer orders with the Operation working closely with Sales, Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Prepares weekly schedule status reports for customers.
• Monitors vendor core progress of production schedules with other departments to identify and correct problems.
• Communicates daily with customers regarding issues and schedules.
• Integrates sales orders with production schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies and equipment.
• Interfaces with all departments to support business needs.
• Participates in periodic forecasting meetings with sales.
• Some travel required within Northeast Ohio.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
