Job summary

Flint Group in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking a Shipping Planner to coordinate incoming orders, daily shipping plans, and communicate backlog to field teams. The role collaborates with Customer Service, Sales and Production to align on priorities and ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include scheduling, inventory coordination with Materials Manager, and reporting schedule adherence. Strong Excel/Sheets skills and SAP knowledge are preferred; HS diploma required; safety-conscious team player

Qualifications

Must be able to communicate with internal teammates and customers.
Lead or supervisor experience preferred.
High level of safety consciousness.
Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Schedule incoming orders and finished goods planning.
Generate daily shipping plan.
Communicate backlog to the field daily.
Collaborate with Customer Service and Sales on customer needs (hot rushes).
Cover vacations in Shipping/Receiving and for Materials Manager as needed.
Coordinate with Materials Manager for accurate inventory control.
Work with Production Manager to set batch priorities and communicate customer needs.
Maintain schedule adherence or report divergences to Operations, Customer Service, and Sales.
