Job summary

Saft is seeking a Planner in Jacksonville to coordinate and expedite production and shipments, aligning schedules with ERP systems and sales forecasts. You will work with various teams to ensure timely delivery of quality products and maintain compliance with ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Supply Chain, SCM, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years planning experience
• Understanding of ERP and Microsoft Office
• Understanding of sales forecasting techniques, purchasing lead times, and customer lead time requirements

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain production, work, and shipment schedules, prioritize job orders for production optimization.
• Follow up with all teams to expedite flow of material and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectations.
• Interact with shop floor management to resolve manufacturing inefficiencies and provide information as requested by Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Accounting.
• Confer with department supervisor to determine progress of work, completion dates, inventory levels and resolve production problems.
• Maintain and track customer testing requirements, ensure testing has begun and completed timely.
