Job summary

Airlite Plastics in Omaha, NE is seeking a Production Scheduler who will translate the master schedule into executable daily/weekly plans, sequencing work orders to optimize machine use, labor, and materials. You will release orders and monitor adherence while collaborating with Master Scheduler, Production Supervisors, and Materials teams to keep production flowing.

The role requires 2+ years in production scheduling, strong organizational skills, ERP/MRP experience, and a detail-oriented

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years in production scheduling or manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Strong organizational and multi-priority management.
• Ability to read production data and work orders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and adjust daily/weekly production schedules.
• Sequence work orders to optimize machine use and labor.
• Release orders and monitor schedule adherence.
• Adjust plans for downtime, shortages, and rush orders.
• Coordinate with Master Scheduler, Supervisors, and Materials.
• Report schedule attainment and variances; support root cause analysis.
• Ensure safety and compliance.
