About The Role
We are seeking a Production Scheduler & Operations Assistant to coordinate daily scheduling activities, support production operations, and help ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You'll work closely with production, purchasing, and project teams to align materials, timelines, and resources for custom manufacturing and installations.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, scheduling experience, and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Coordination
- Assist in planning and maintaining daily/weekly production schedules
- Coordinate job timelines and crew assignments with project managers and production leads
- Adjust schedules in real time to accommodate project changes or inventory delays
- Communicate schedule updates across departments and to field crews
Operations & Production Support
- Help check in materials and verify shipments match purchase orders
- Maintain accurate off-site inventory records
- Coordinate fleet and forklift maintenance schedules
- Support purchasing and restocking of materials and supplies
- Monitor facility maintenance needs and vendor scheduling
Cross-Functional Support
- Act as a communication bridge between production, shipping, purchasing, and field teams
- Assist with safety and compliance tracking, including documentation
- Support process improvement efforts to enhance workflow efficiency
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in production, scheduling, or operations support
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a production environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with scheduling or inventory systems a plus
- Forklift experience is helpful (certification preferred)
