Job summary

AGM Production is seeking a Production Job Planner to create and manage the production schedule, coordinating with Purchasing, Production, Quality Control, Engineering, and Sales to ensure material availability and on-time delivery. This role emphasizes strong organization, ERP usage, and cross-functional communication in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will have a two-year certificate or relevant AGM experience, solid English communication, and the ability to adapt schedules daily

Qualifications

• Two-year certificate from a college, and 1–6 months at AGM Container Controls, or related experience and/or training.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize several assignments.
• Excellent English reading, writing, and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Create and administer production schedules; adjust daily as new jobs/dates arrive.
• Initiate material requisitions for estimating, purchasing, and in-house needs.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Quality Control, Engineering, and Sales to determine material requirements and shortages.
• Communicate production status and align planning with departmental objectives.
• Maintain inventory, shortage, in-process records, and material status.
• Coordinate with the Inventory Manager on in-plant transfers and stockroom movements.
• Track purchase orders, jobs, and materials; route materials to appropriate departments.
• Address delivery variances to meet customer dates.
• Use Excel, Word, and AGM ERP for tasks; maintain a tidy work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Follow ISO procedures and AGM Quality Management System processes.
• Adhere to attendance, punctuality, and the Courtesy and Professionalism Policy.
