Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Scheduler II to develop and manage production schedules and material requirements. You will ensure material availability and oversee documentation of production issues, coordinating with multiple departments to align with schedules.

The role requires a degree and ERP experience, with preference for aerospace/defense exposure and scheduling software proficiency; hybrid office-based work is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 2+ years of related experience; substitute allowed with more experience.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
• Experience with scheduling software.
• Understanding of basic manufacturing/production scheduling techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules and material requirements.
• Oversee and monitor production activities for optimal workflow.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and material shortages.
• Maintain detailed documentation of production and material issues.
• Issue work orders and purchase requests aligned with production schedules.
• Interface with various departments to ensure alignment with schedules.
• Analyze data to forecast material needs and adjust schedules accordingly.
