Are you experienced in material planning, supply management, and manufacturing processes? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Material Planner II to join our team, playing a critical role in managing the flow of materials throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive MBOM (Manufacturing Bill of Materials) reviews and maintain strict revision control within the ERP system.
• Manage the creation and processing of sales orders, manufacturing orders, and purchase requisitions/purchase orders.
• Allocate raw and finished goods to meet production and delivery schedules.
• Monitor material levels to prevent shortages and scheduling delays.
• Support and maintain firm planned, released, and in-shop manufacturing orders to ensure seamless production operations.
• Identify and resolve material and scheduling issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and execute supply chain schedules.
• Develop and maintain efficient supply chain schedules for optimal order and delivery planning.
• Ensure timely and accurate planning of orders and deliveries to meet customer demands and production needs.
• Utilize MRP systems to plan and control inventory, production, and procurement activities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field of study and typically 2+ years of relevant experience
• A higher level degree may substitute for experience
• Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
• Exposure to the engineering change process
• Basic understanding of master production planning
• Basic understanding of Supply Chain Management and Logistics
• Familiarity with applicable manufacturing drawings

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with Program Management
• Technical/Engineering degree
• Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) as it applies to Supplier Management
• Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and /or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
• Experience in Supply Chain Management and /or Operations Management
• Understanding of Unified Commercial Code (UCC)
• Experience in Microsoft Office
• Experience in digital tooling applications
