Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a Production Scheduler to plan and schedule manufacturing runs based on inventory and demand. The role analyzes data in SAP, maintains SAP integrity and prepares production reports in a typical office environment adjacent to manufacturing facilities.

The candidate should have a high school or technical diploma and at least 2 years of experience in distribution or production, with strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

  • High School /Technical School diploma with a minimum of 2 years' work experience in physical distribution or a production role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of SAP systems.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and evaluate manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows to establish sequence and lead time of each production operation based on SAP order entry.
  • Expedite operations that delay or alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
  • Maintain SAP integrity.
  • May be responsible for Resale Inventory (Imports).
  • Analyze and monitor inventory daily.
  • Enter production and warehouse transfers in SAP system.
  • Prepare production reports.

In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.Position Overview:The purpose of the Production Scheduler's role is to plan and schedule appropriate production runs based on inventory and demand.
