Job Description

Are you seeking a key role in production planning where you can foster business partnerships, improve efficiency, and speed up production processes? The Production Planner position at GSK offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our supply chain operations.

As a Production Planner at GSK, your responsibilities will include planning, managing, and coordinating supply chain activities at our site. This involves overseeing demand and supply management, order fulfillment, production scheduling, raw material planning, material management operations, and customer interactions.

This role provides an opportunity to lead critical activities that will advance your career. Key responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining an accurate Open Order Book to track scheduled product shipments.
2. Implementing a level-loaded and Fixed Frequency Repeating Schedule (FFRS) methodology for order fulfillment.
3. Measuring Conformance to Schedule (CTS), Schedule Stability (SS), and Cycle Time across work centers.
4. Facilitating daily supply chain performance meetings to represent specific work centers.
5. Maintaining current capacity definitions for production work centers based on output data.
6. Executing predefined Performance Management processes to ensure order fulfillment aligned with FFRS methodology.
7. Managing production scheduling for non-standard activities like New Product Introductions or Artwork/Pack Changes, adhering to FFRS principles.
8. Monitoring and maintaining accuracy of all supply-critical data within relevant systems.
9. Identifying and mitigating stock at risk, collaborating with support functions on inventory write-offs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and some college coursework
• 3+ years in logistics or production roles
• Experience with SAP
• Scheduler or Planner experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Commerce, Business, Supply Chain, or related fields
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong numeracy skills and planning system knowledge
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources
• Effective communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Stakeholder influence skills
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
