Job summary

Organic Valley’s Cashton Conversion & Labeling Facility is seeking a Production Team Member to operate ghee, deli cheese and cheese shreds lines, and to sanitize equipment and work areas. The role emphasizes adherence to GMPs, food safety rules, and accurate documentation; team collaboration is essential in a safety‑sensitive environment.

Base hourly pay ranges from $18.21 to $21.42, with premiums of $2.00 for evening shifts, $3.00 for overnight, and an additional weekend premium.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP).
• Strong communication and problem solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to safely work with sanitation chemicals.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Physical ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 120 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to ensure proper conversion of products.
• Operate equipment with attention to detail.
• Adhere to GMPs and food safety regulations.
• Set up equipment on production lines.
• Maintain quality standards for customer satisfaction.
• Pack products and palletize.
• Follow safety requirements and document information.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and production areas.
• Assist with general plant cleaning as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
